Bellosoft started in 2017 as a two-person operation between the UK and Brazil, built around a simple idea: that a small, senior team with genuine ownership of outcomes would consistently outperform a large one where accountability is diffuse. Nine years and battle-tested products delivered across five markets later, we still believe it. We work with fintech startups, retail platforms, and healthcare providers. If you need accountable delivery, we're built for that pressure.
How we operate
Seven principles.
- 01The problem before the solution.We spend the first two weeks on what you're actually trying to fix. Jumping straight to code is how you build the wrong thing, perfectly.
- 02The estimate is the estimate.We don't pad to look safe and we don't undercut to win. The number we give you is the number we believe, and we own the delta if we're wrong.
- 03No is a complete answer.If a feature won't move your metric, we'll say so. We'd rather cut scope than ship something that costs more to maintain than it earns.
- 04Ownership over delivery.We don't close tickets, we move outcomes. Everyone on the project is accountable for the metric, not just their slice of the work.
- 05Small on purpose.Ten people means every project gets senior attention. We've turned down scale to protect quality. That's a choice, not a constraint.
- 06Remote by design, not by default.We've been fully remote since 2017. Async-first, documented decisions, weekly demos. It works because we built the process around it. Not in spite of the distance.
- 07Optimise for the boring metric.Reliability, time-to-decision, support load. The unglamorous numbers compound. We chase those.
